Keep Customers Loyal with SocialCRM

Everyone wants to believe that their customers are loyal, but you should not expect them to be without giving them reason, so when you find a truly loyal customer, show your gratitude.

The goal for your shop is to have a greater bottom line, full bays, and happy customers, and you can achieve all of these things by thanking your customers and encouraging their return. You want to give them every opportunity to remember who your shop is and why they decided to come to you for auto repair service in the first place.

To keep your customers happy and loyal, you should take every opportunity to improve their experience at your shop.

One thing you can do is to help them keep their vehicle running safely and reliably by reminding them to have routine maintenance performed, even something as simple as a tire rotation or an oil change. The SocialCRM shop marketing service makes this easy by automating emails that remind your customers when they are coming due for service, and reminding them of critical work that needs to be performed on their vehicle. These are just a few of the ways that we can help you stay connected with your customers and bring them back so you can continue to impress and please them time and time again.

Safety First, Utilize TPM

Improving safety and reducing costs are goals that every fleet technician always has in mind. Proper tire inflation improves fuel mileage and increases tread and casing life. Keeping tires properly inflated also increases safety for the driver and other motorists sharing the road.

Statistically, one out of five trucks and trailers on the road is operating with one or more tires underinflated by at least 20 psi; which is not good news. And it shows that drivers, technicians, and fleet managers alike need a better way to accurately monitor tire pressures.

Electronic Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) systems allow accurate, real-time monitoring of tire pressures. Tire pressure information from the individual wheel sensors is wirelessly transmitted to an in-cab display. The driver is then provided with real-time information, enabling him or her to take corrective action if any problems are noted. In addition, some TPM systems allow technicians to easily read tire pressures using a wireless handheld scanner. Data from the TPM sensors can also be utilized by on-board vehicle telematics, allowing fleet managers to proactively monitor tire condition.

Lifting points

The latest ProDemand update includes a new Tire Information and Lifting Points Quick Link that combines essential information to help technicians work safely and efficiently. Properly placing a vehicle on a lift is a crucial first step to perform service and repairs correctly. Not only does properly lifting a vehicle improve technician safety, but it also helps to avoid vehicle damage.
